Tara Graves for District 1 – Stonecrest City Council

Tara Graves recently formed a group to beautify and pick up trash around the surrounding area. She’s also working closely with the representatives of Dekalb County to have No litter signs and No dumping signs placed all around Stonecrest.
Currently, there are work orders in place for trees to be cut back at the corner of Turner Hill and Hayden Quarry Rd. Trees are also being trimmed on Stonecrest Blvd. to comply with code requirements.

My major goal for Stonecrest is to make it one of the most desired cities in Dekalb County by:

Working with property owners to maintain cleanliness in areas surrounding business premises regardless of who left the trash there.

Creating a city that is safe, clean, and respected

Increasing public safety to reduce crime

Creating a city that provides opportunities to its residents to grow, work, relax and play

Creating a city that works with public transportation, and ensuring there are benches or shelter at the Marta bus stops

Forming a partnership with the people in the communities to help drive commerce and economic development in the city

Family is everything

Tara has been married for over 21 years with 3 beautiful kids. Her joy comes from watching them grow and creating memories along the way. She is passionate about community involvement. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, walking up Stone Mountain, decorating, and participating in shopping yard sales.
